Neighborhood Soundwalks with Norman Long and Experimental Station

Norman Long’s Three Block Sound Walk
Saturdays, Sept. 29 and Oct. 6, 12:30-1:30PM
(depart from 61st and Dorchester)

Norman W Long, Chicago sound artist and board member of the Midwest Society for Acoustic Ecology, leads soundwalks of the immediate neighborhood, connecting William Hill’s multiple green spaces with Experimental Station, as part of their Environmental Concerns project.

Before the walk, have a bite to eat or some delicious produce at their 61st St. Farmers Market!

The Environmental Concerns project engages “…local intersections between the natural world and social environments. Through exhibitions, installations, and public events, it connects and amplifies neighboring grassroots sites.”
