For roughly twenty years SonicAnta, the exploration of sonic boundaries by Glenn Weyant, has been underway in a variety of names, guises and formats.
This Website provides a vehicle for presenting those explorations, as they occur, beginning with the 2006 release of The Anta Project.
The Anta Project is an enhanced sound collage compiled from covert performances utilizing implements of mass percussion and a cello bow to play the steel wall, barbed wire fences and assorted ephemera that separates the United States from Mexico in the Sonoran Desert.
