Join teaching sound artist Norman W. Long on a soundwalk. “Many Sounds: Listening to Washington Park” is dedicated to Gwendolyn Brooks and Margaret Burroughs as part of their centennial celebrations this year.
This soundwalk, led by artist and educator Eric Leonardson, will focus on night sounds around the Wauconda Area Library — a blend of forest and wetland soundscapes.
Eric Leonardson will lead the group through listening exercises during a short soundwalk which will then be followed by a singing insect monitor training and a second soundwalk led by Dr. Carl Strang.
