Rachel Epp Buller

Dr. Rachel Epp Buller is Professor of Visual Arts and Design at Bethel College (KS/US). Her research explores feminist care and embodied methods of listening in contemporary art, including through research for a recent collaboration, Walking the Talk: Climate Moves. Her books include Reconciling Art and Mothering, Inappropriate Bodies: Art, Design and Maternity (ed. with Charles Reeve), the forthcoming monograph Listening as Artistic Practice: Essays and Invitations, and forthcoming edited collection, Walking the Talk: Climate Moves and Relational Attunement. Solo exhibitions include Walking, Lost and Found, Compound Yellow in Chicago (2025), Invitations to Listen, Mulvane Art Museum at Washburn University (2023), In/Visible Care, Outlook Gallery in Minneapolis (2022), Hoping You Are Well, Salina Art Center (2020), and Taking Care and Other Words, Borough Road Gallery in London (2019). She is a two-time Fulbright Scholar, a national board member of the Women’s Caucus for Art (US), and a certified practitioner in Deep Listening.
