The Midwest Society For Acoustic Ecology
The Midwest Society for Acoustic Ecology (MSAE) explores the vital role of sound and listening in natural habitats and human societies. Since 2009, we’ve brought communities together through immersive soundwalks, educational workshops, and creative and scholarly projects. Our members work to identify, preserve, and restore culturally and ecologically diverse sound environments. As part of a growing network dedicated to advancing acoustic ecology, we deepen the understanding and appreciation of sound in the world around us.
