This guided sound walk through Palmer Square blends field recordings, live interventions, and deep listening practices led by Allen Moore. Experience rhythms of the landscape and let the square become a living score as we drift together. Palmer Square is located at 2200 N Kedzie Blvd. We will meet at the intersection of N. Allen Moore (he/him/his) is a Black Interdisciplinary Visual Artist, Experimental Turntableist, Sound Artist, Educator and Youth Mentor born and raised in the Historic Village of Robbins IL. His conceptual premise is to analyze the signifiers of Blackness through performative Improvisation and experimentation.
